I can't do the assignment for youas this will include survey, I shall outline the steps though!
In this assignment, there will be 3 stages
a. Questionnaire preparation: Prepare a questionnaire which should address the areas you want to analyse.
Here are some points you'd like to have in mind while preparing questionnaire. A good questionnaire should:
b. Design of experiment and Data collection:
This is a very important step. You first have to identify the population that is concerned for the study! Then you need to identify and calculate how large the sample size should be depending on resources such as time, expenditure etc. Then you have to select a random sample to remove a possible source of bias
Here's why it is important to take care of these things: A really well-designed experiment will give you a correct answer to your question if you’re right, and a wrong answer to your question if you’re wrong. A less well-designed experiment will sometimes not answer your question, but will lead you to new insight and asking questions in the future.
Now data collection should also be unbiased and you should make sure that one response shouldn't be affected by anyone else's.
c. Data analysis: Now the path is relatively easy! You can use any descriptive statistics tool to visualize the data and draw conclusions. If you want to be statistically precise, you should carry out some statistical test and/or estimate confidence interval or build a predictive model and so on. The possibilities are just limited by the imagination!
