Explanation / Answer

Types of results in table 1 are measures of difference as it shows the t test results in which we are comparing 2 groups. First group is the one which experienced sexual violence and the second group didnt experienc sexual violence.

Types of results in table 2 are measures of association as it shows the bivariate correlations among the variables which is a way to quantify the strength of the linear relationship.

For table 1 which shows measures of difference, all the variables will have some difference in their values in the 2 groups.
For checking whether the difference between them is statistically significant we need to check the p value corresponding to the t value. We can check the asteriks in front of the t value. So variables Witnessed Violence, Experienced Violence, Age at FI, Proportion of sex partners in relationship, sexual assertiveness and self esteem are statistically different in 2 groups.

For table 2 which shows measures of association, the variables which are most strongly associated are:
Experienced violence from a parent and Witness violence between parents. These 2 have a correlation coefficient of 0.581 which is the highest here. These are strongly associated in a positively. Yes this is statistically singificant as this is having three asteriks which denote statistical significance at 99.9% confidence level.
