Explanation / Answer

a) The star's gravitational pull on the innermost planet's very dense atmosphere could have caused strong atmospheric tides. Such tides, combined with friction between those planet's mantle and core, could have caused the orbital motion to be clockwise in those cases.

b) It is suprising that five planets are gas giants while others are terrestrial. This would probably mean that the star is very closer to those ones due to which no atmosphere can exist on them.

c) This may be possible. As is the case with Uranus in our solar system.

d) This is suprising as a planet so massive, and it exists in terrestrial form, also being so far away from the star is unexpected.
