a) The weighted score is computed by multiplying the various scores with their corresponding weights. Therefore the weighted score here is obtained as:
= 91*0.06 + 73*0.06 + 72*0.06 + 94*0.17 + 98*0.17 + 82*0.17 + 99*0.31
= 91.43
Therefore the weighted score here is 91.4 ( rounded to one decimal place )
b) Similar to previous part, here the weighted score would be:
= 23*0.06 + 73*0.06 + 72*0.06 + 94*0.17 + 98*0.17 + 82*0.17 + 99*0.31
= 87.35
Therefore the weighted score here is 87.4 ( rounded to one decimal place )
