Values are what you consider to be most important in life. The textbook says, "Individuals often discover that the reason they are dissatisfied with their current job is that it incorporates few of their values and interests" (Sukiennik & Raufman, 2016, p. 37).

Throughout the week, we will hold conversations about values. The conversations we hold throughout the week in this forum will help us begin to think in a way that aligns with thinking about mission statements.

What are your core values and how does it tie in with you current employer's values or mission statement?

Values are the best ethics to live life both in personal and professional space.The core value of ours are as follows and also it has so close possibility of connection with our employers mission statement. It also emphasises the values needed in our workplace.Another important aspect of maintaining the core values are the satisfaction it provides to every individual employee apart from their performance.

1.Hard work and smart work. - Organisations expect every employee to contribute their best to the job they are performing.They should be able to show both hard work and smart work which would then reflect in their output.

2.Willingness to learn. An employee should not live in his comfort zone in hisworkplace.He should be willing to learn new technologies and methodologies that in turn will reflect in the quality of the work and final result.

3.Positive atmosphere - It becomes the moral duty of every employee to make himself and his surrounding to react in a positive manner.Positivism adds to the happier environment of the workplace.

4.Trust - The core value that is most important in accordance with the mission statement is maintaining trust and loyalty .Every individual should be true to his work as well as in maintaining its secrecy wherever needed.

5.Flexibility - People working for an organisation should be flexible and adaptable as the situation demands.They have to show their flexibility when needed like shift timings and working some time extra when projects demand.

6.Working towards the growth of the organisation as well as the individual should be the objective of an employee and this is well specified in the mission of an organisation.

All these core values are specified in the mission of an organisation and it also helps in the personal and career of an individual.
