A group of educational researchers would like to test the effectiveness of educational toys geared to help children read. Researchers designed an experiment in which a group of preschool aged children spent 2 hours a day for 6 months in a classroom that had "educational" toys including alphabet blocks, electronic reading games, etc. Where as a control group of children spent 2 hours a day for 6 months in a classroom with "non-educational" toys. To minimize bias the researchers used 5 sets of identical twins. Each set of twins had a twin randomly assigned to either the experimental classroom or control classroom.
