A. i disagree to the fact that results justify the conclusions. This is in relation to the correlation and causation of happenings. However, this is not always the case since some results justify the conclusion. In our case above, it is expected that increase in the price of ice cream relates with an increase in the degrees of heat in the environment. Correlation between increase in the price of ice cream and drowning is impossible considering the fact that results justify the conclusions. The statement can be a reality if other factors are considered for example when dams and wells are being dug in an area during dry seasons.

Based on the correlation obtained from the data, the result may be justifeid but ere is no relationship between ice cream sales and drowing deaths. this type of correlation is known as Spurious Correlation or Non-sense Correlation.

Example: There is no relation between the I.Q. and beauty of a group of persons. but when the data is collected in this regard, we may find some correlation coefficient between I.Q. and Beauty which is not correct.
