A. The results in this study does not justify the conclusion. It does not justify the conclusion because students poor performance maybe partially led by drinking but there are also a lot of other factors that leads to student's poor performances such as, not attending class, not reading their material, not having a drive to succeed in their class and sometimes some subjects are not the students strongest filed therefore to say drinking leads to poor student performance is not justifiable in my opinion. It does plays a role in some student performances but not all students poor performance many other factors are the cause.

Answer:

The above opinion is correct and the student performance is does not affected by only single reason. There would be chain or sequences of the reasons for the poor student performance. Sometimes it may be interactions of more than one activity or events which relates to the student performance. There would be more reasons for poor performance of students rather than drinking. Actually, drinking would be a reason for lower grades but we cannot say that it is only single factor behind it. It would be one of them which are responsible for the lower grades. Sometimes there would be combined effects of the activities lead to lower grades. For example, avoid study and do not wakes up early or reach to school or college late or spending time in vain would have combined effect on the student performance which leads to lower grades.
