Question
I am using a normal distribution applet and not a table to solve this question, can you help me figure out why B) is wrong?
My Attempt:
I did 1 - 0.5636 and then I put the answer I got into the applet and it gave me 1.60, I tried negative 1.60 but clearly i am wrong, can you help me figure this one out?
Let "Z" be a random variable from the standard normal distribution. Find the value for (Round all answers to two decimal places) A) P(Z 30.5841. 0.212 B) POZ J 0.5636 1.60 C) P( Z 0.9748. t 2.238 that satisfies each of the following probabilitiesExplanation / Answer
P(Z > z) = 0.5636
Or, 1 - P(Z < z) = 0.5636
Or, P(Z < z) = 1 - 0.5636
Or, P(Z < z) = 0.4364
Or, z = -0.16
