Question
I am using Mac Excel 2016, and I am having an issue converting a table to a chart, specifically with the x axis labeling. The x values in the table are 1995-2015, and for some reason the horizontal x axis on the chart is converting to 1-20, instead of the actual years. I have included a picture to clarify my problem. I need the x axis to be 1995, 1996, 1997, and so on. Thanks for any help or suggestions. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

to get the years at the x-axis you must remove the heading 4) of the column in which years are present and then try to insert the chart again. This will put 1995, 1996 etc., on the x-axis instead of 1,2,3...
