B= Rose oil and C = oil of fermented prunes.

Then, set the following equations

A + B + C = 24 ......... ( 1 )

A - C = 8............. ( 2 )

A = B + C ...........( 3 )

Solving these equations,

Substituting A = B + C in equation (1)

we get 2A = 24 implies that A = 12.

Substitute A= 12 in equation (2), we get

12 - C = 8 implies that C = 4.

Substitute A=12 and C = 4 in equation (3) we get B = 8

Thus, Alcohol = 12 oz

Rose oil = 8 oz
