He is also a pretty good student and maintains a B average. During middle school he dealt with a few bouts of depression, as many students do n dealing with puberty, girls, school dances and social pressures. He gets along well with his peers and has a dog named Hank that is his best friend. Extremely interested in competitive sports and coaching, Jason hopes to help with the school's football team; his dream is to be an assistant coach by his senior year. Jason also attends a wheelchair sports camp every sum- mer and enjoys water skiing, football, and bas- ketball. Jim is looking forward to working with Jason but knows very little about spina bifida and is concerned about Jason's safety in class. Based on what you know about Jason and what you know about spina bifida from appendix A, what might be Jason's 1. functional capabilities?
