Explanation / Answer
We will test the proportion or amount of study time active students use.
FOR THIS SECTION YOU NEED TO COLLECT THE DATA AND DO INFERENCES FOR EXAMPLE HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE YOU GOING TO INTERVIEW?? example sample size is 100
Collect Data on n 30, state sample size:__________100___
Follow the steps to Hypotheses testing, analyze your data using JMP.
Ho : p = 0.50
Ha : p > 0.50
Type a report with this information and your results including a conclusion.
Proportion collected : 60 / 100 = 0.6
Z = ( 0.6 - 0.5 ) / srqt ( 0.5*0.5 /100 )
Z = 2
p value : 0.0228
