I answered these questions already but I just wanted to make sure I'm right. Thanks for the help...

A.which organelle would be most abundant in cells with high energy demands, like muscle cells?

B.which organelle would be most abundant in cells that secrete large amounts of protein molecules, mammary glands?

C.which organelle would be most abundant in cells that make large amounts of proteins for inside the cytoplasm, like skin cells?

D.which organelle would be most abundant in cells that use the energy from the sun to make carbohydrates?

Explanation / Answer

Answer:

A). Mitochondria

Mitochondria are considered as power houses of the cell

B). Golgi apparatus

Golgi vesicles which break off from the ends of the cisternae carry the compacted secretory substances. Some of these vesicles become lysosomes, some migrate to the plasma membrane and membranes of organelles like the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum to fuse with them, thus contributing fresh proteins and phospholipids to their membrane, some become secretory vesicles that store cell products such as breast milk or digestive enzymes for later secretion by exocytosis.

C). Rough endoplasmic reticulum

It consists of ribosomes. The ribosomes involve in protein synthesis

D). Chloroplasts

Chloroplasts consists of chlorophyll pigments that trap the sun light and convert it into chemical energy in the form of ATP. The ATP can be utilized to synthesize carbohydrates.
