Explanation / Answer

A worker is exposed to MeCl2 at a concetration of 65 mg/m^3 for 1.5 hours. Later the worker was exposed to MeCl2 at a concentration of 40 mg/m^3 for 1 hour. Finnaly the worker was exposed to MeCl2 at a concentration of 100 mg/m^3 for 4 hours. Calculate the TWA in mg/m^3. Provide the answer in 2 sig figures

TWA =(65*1.5+40*1+100*4) / (1.5+1+4)

=537.5/6.5 = 82.69

TWA = 82.69 mg/m^3
