2. Discuss why the median is a more stable measure of central tendency than the mean. Provide an original example in your discussion.

If the data is extremely skewed, the median is a more stable measure of central tendency. For example if the numbers of a set are (2,2,2,4,5, 5, 89) The median would be 4. While the mode of this would be 15.57. The number 89 throws off the whole set and does not give an accurate description of the entire set, just the outlier.

yeah if the data is skewed or it has outliers then its fine but its the mean you have calculated not the mode
