Dimensions of the carpeted floor are 20 ft and 20 ft.

Area of carpeted floor = 20*20 = 400 square ft.

Cost of carpet = Area of carpeted floor * Cost of carpeting per square foot

                    = 400 * 2.25

                     = $900
