250 = 25 *10 = 5*5 *10. As you can see 250 is still equal to5*5*10 so we did not change anything from the originalradical. When you get a a pair of numbers inside the radical, forexample 5*5 you can pull out a 5 because the square rootof 5*5 is 5.
