Question
My question is this: I found the pH of cranberries/cranberry juice which is 2.52, Ineed to find the hydrogen ion concentration , [H+]. (mol/L) This is my equation that I have and am stuck to goforward. C = p * 2.52 = -log10[H+] Divide by -1: -2.52 = log10[H+] take 10 "to the" on each side 10^-2.52 = 10log10[H+] simplify 10^-2.52= [H+] [H+] = 3.020 *10^? mol/L this is as far as I got , I am stumped when it came to themol/L in [H+]. pH = -log10[H+] 2.52 = -log10[H+] -2.52 = log10[H+] 10-2.52 =10log10[H+]3.02*10-3 =[H+] square brackets indicate concentration so 3.02 * 10-3 isM or mol/L already.
