Question
I have been evaluating functions and doing fine until I get tothis questions this is what I did so far I just need a push in theright direction. Evaluate the indicated function for f(x) = x^2-4 and g(x) =x-6 (f-g)(t-1) (f-g)(t-1) = (x^2-4)-(x-6) = x^2-4-x+6 =x^2 -x +2 (simplified) Now I substitute the (t-1) for thex (t-1)^2-(t-1)+2 so now I am stuck I got t^2+1-t+1+2 simplified t^2-t+4 the solution on the review is t^2-3t+4 My question how and where does -3t come in?
