2) I think this sample is not representative of the large population. There are few things behind it,
i) Sample size is very small. Atleast 10% sample is required for study.
ii) Here taking sample without any sampling techniques i.e. stratified sampling technique, Cluster sampling technique etc. We know that simple random sample technique do not cover all population every time.

3) Here 80% sample agreed with statement. This 80% is based on sample, hence 80% is a statistics or not a parameter. We know that statistics is a any function of samples.

4) Gallup organization was interested in estimating population proportion who are satisfied with mentioned statement.

5)Yes it is reasonable to conclude that exactly 80% of all adult American agree with the statement about American exceptionalism.
