Question
For my question, I need to use the Central Tendency Theorem to (i) Calculate the Mean and Median for Variables “mass” and “speed” for the whole data set (Population); and (ii) Calculate the Mean and Median for the Variables “mass” and “speed “ for the sample when the “operator is American Airlines” with excel. However, I am unsure how to do this. I cannot put the data table in, but can you show me the general principles of how to achieve this?
Edit Note: Sorry, I tried to paste the data set in here, but it was missing when I updated it and I didn't see a way to make a comment about it. Since I could not paste the partial data set into Chegg, I put it into Pastebin (The data set is too big to paste the whole thing into).

Explanation / Answer
I have seen your data, for that data u can directly use excel.
1) input the data in excel
2) then use the following commands
Syntax fo mean is = AVERAGE(number1, [number2], ...)
Syntax for median is = MEDIAN(number1, [number2], ...)
It will give u appropriate answers..
