a) p = 0.5 ,q = 0.5 , Z = 1.96

n = p*q*(Z/E)^2

= 0.5*0.5*(1.96/0.01)^2

= 9604

b) p = 0.95 , q = 0.05 , Z = 1.96

n = 0.95*0.05*(1.96/0.01)^2

= 1824.76

= 1825
