1) There are 25 people who are from New Mexico and like red. What is the expected frequency for the number of people from New Mexico who like red?
2) There are 5 people who are from New Mexico and like red. What is the expected frequency for the number of people from New Mexico who like red?

Yellow=40
Green = 60
Red = 15
There are other colors also.
(1) Expected people who are from New mexico and like red = Total number of new mexico people * Total number of people who like red/ Total number of people = (Total number of new maxico people/Total number of people) * total number of people who like red
= 0.4 * 15 = 6
(2) Here expected frequenecy will be the same as 6 as in the previous question as expected frequency is indendent of oberved frequency.
