a) for male data we can say that the median is almost same before and after the drug is applied.

and the IQR has increased after the use of the drug.

for female data we can say that the median has decreased after using the drug.

and IQR has also decreased after using the drug.

b) in both cases a little bit more than 50% of the male population has SBP less than 159.

c) for female data almost 73% of population has SBP less than 159 before medical treatment.

and almost 80% of the population has SBP less than 159 after medical treatment.

d) yes there are some outliers.

no numerical data has been given,only boxplot has benn provided. so, with this i cant verify this mathematically.

e) Here all we need is the spread and the median of the data. For these needs box and whiskers plot is best to explain.
