Assume alpha = level of significance = 0.05

Given that,

sample size (n) = 13

sample mean (Xbar) = 4.0062

Sample standard deviation (s) = 0.50394

From all these values we get,

test statistic = 0.843

P-value = 0.412

We can see that,

P-value > alpha

Accept H0 at 5% level of signifcance.

Conclusion : The population mean may be 3.9 * 1011 .

Or we get insignificant result about one sample t-test.

The American machine is less efficient than the other machine.
