Explanation / Answer
1.a. Quantitative Research
Quantitative Research is used to quantify the problem by way of generating numerical data or data that can be transformed into usable statistics. Quantitative Research uses measurable data to formulate facts and uncover patterns in research. Quantitative data collection methods are much more structured than Qualitative data collection methods. It include various forms of surveys such as online surveys, paper surveys, mobile surveys and kiosk surveys, face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews, longitudinal studies, website interceptors, online polls, and systematic observations but in random sampling a variety of selection techniques in which sample members are selected by chance, but with a known probability of selection.
2. Qualitative research methods depend on isolation of one or more variables that can be measured and analyzed statistically. False
Quantitative researchers try to recognize and isolate specific variables contained within the study framework, seek correlation, relationships and causality, and attempt to control the environment in which the data is collected to avoid the risk of variables, other than the one being studied, accounting for the relationships identified. In qualitative research no hypotheses or relationships of variables are tested. Because variables must be defined numerically in hypothesis-testing research, they cannot reflect subjective experience.
QUESTION 3. C. 12 months or more
The time frame is the deadline for achievement of an objective. It needs to be realistic. At a minimum, it is aligned with the time frame of the Plan, itself (5 years, 10 years, etc.). Building commitments takes time.
QUESTION 4. A. Mortality
Mortality data gives the state of being subject to death.
QUESTION 5. C. Implementation
QUESTION 6. A. Impact
Outcome/effectiveness evaluation measures program effects in the target
QUESTION 7. A. Summative
