Question
Problems 19.28, find the exact value of each expression. Do not use sin 38 degree - cos 52degree tan 12degree - cot 78degree 1 - cos^2 20degree - cos^2 70degree 1 + tan^2 5degree - csc^2 85degree cos 35degree sin 55degree + sin 35degree cos 55degree 29-42, use the right triangle shown below. Then, using the b = 5, B = 20degree; find a, c, and A a = 6, 5 = 40degree; find b, c, and A b = 4, A = 10degree; find a, c, and B 1 = 5, A = 25degree; find b, c, and B c = 9, B = 20degree; find b, a, and A t = 5, b = 3. find c, A, and B a = 2, c = 5; find b, A, and B Geometry The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 5 inches. If leg is 2 inches, find the degree measure of each angle. hypotenuse of a right triangle is 3 feet. foot, find the degree measure of each angle.Explanation / Answer
Solution:
Since triangle is right triangle
and we know that
sum of all internal angle of triangle = 180
A + B + 90 = 180
It is given that B = 40
A + 40 +90 = 180
A = 180 -40-90
A = 50
Now
In right triangle
Height = b
base = a = 6
and hypoteneous = c
Now
tan (B) = height/Base =b /6
b = 6 * tan(B) = 6*tan(40) = 5.03
b = 5.03
Now
Sin(B) = height/hypoteneous = b /c
Sin(B) = 5.03/c
SIn(40) = 5.03 /c
c = 5.03/0.64 = 7.82
c = 7.82
Answer : A = 50 , b = 5.03 and c = 7.82
