I chose this stage because this product is new to the market. As it is new for the people, it would be a good idea to have people try it out and give their feedback. Thus, a prototype could be used to test the market. By doing so, they would know if they need to change anything about the product or they can do mass production without any changes. That would also help with gaining information about the customer's response to the product before putting it on the shelves.
