Question
Annual Carbon Dioxide Increase The graph shows atmospheric concentrations of CO2 measured at the Mauna Loa Observatory. The green line shows seasonal variation around the annual average (black line). Use what you have learned in this chapter to answer the following questions 1. Why does the global atmospheric CO2 concentration fluctuate seasonally? Submit 2. Why is the average global CO2 concentration rising with each passing year? Where is that carbon coming from? Submit Recent monthly average CO2 at Mauna Loa 395 390 385 . 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 YearExplanation / Answer
1 - co2 concentration changes seasonally because of mostly by the people activity . the atmosphere is not the only researvoir of carbon, the tree coal ocean are also contain carbon. the carbon constantly moves from one part of the earth to another part of the earth, it balances the carbon composition of the atmosphere.but people changes the balance by adding more co2 to the atmosphere by burning the fossile fuel. so due to the human activity and plants action and the presence of sunlight make the variation through out the different seasons.
2 - in every year we are seeing the co2 concentration increases this happens due to the human activity, the developing countyr uses more fuel and releases more carbon to the atmosphere and this make the increases of co2 each year .
