Question

1.The op-amp shown below is an ideal op-amp and it is powered by Vcc = +12 V and VEE = -12V. (Ideal means: infinite input impedance, infinite open loop gain, very low output impedance and VEE <= Vout <= VCC.) Calculate Vout (in Volts, with respect to ground) for Vin = 1.8 and R1 = 1 kOhms and R2 = 14 kOhms.
2.The op-amp shown below is an ideal op-amp and it is powered by Vcc = +12 V and VEE = -12V. (Ideal means: infinite input impedance, infinite open loop gain, very low output impedance and VEE <= Vout <= VCC.) Calculate Vout (in Volts, with respect to ground) for Vin = 3 and Vx = 6.

It is squence order please answer those questions

Explanation / Answer

1) Vout= Vin (R2/R1 +1) = 1.8x 14/1 + 1 = 27 v but power supply is - 12 to 12 so v out cannot be greater than so answer is Vout= 12 v

2) Vout propotional to ( Vin - Vx)

and as if this comparater and Vx> Vin , so Vout = -12 v
