Is the following electric circuit static or dynamic? Why? Is the following electric circuit static or dynamic? Why? If the v(t) and i(t) plot at the terminals of an electric circuit is shown below: Is the above circuit dynamic or static? Why? Does the following differential equation represent a static or a dynamic electric circuit? Why? D v(t) + D v(t) = D vs(t) An electric circuit has one capacitor and one inductor and one resistor, give the values of the resistor that make this system represented by the following differential equation: D2 v(t) + y(t) = vs(t)

Explanation / Answer

If there is capacitor or inductor in the circuit then the circuit becomes dynamic.

a) Dynamic ..... inductor is there.... the capacitor and inductor changes the current gradually....current is not same at t=0 and t=T where T>0

b) Static ... there is one wire which short circuited the inductor and capacitor branch....so there is no role of inductor and capacitor in this cuicuit. So the current is same at t=0 and t=T where T>0

c) Dynamic
: Same reason as above

d) Dynamic : due to the derivative equation....if there is capacitor or inductor in the circuit then the equation of that circuit has derivatives.

Hope it helps.
