Question
I have computed the Fourier Series for the following function but am not understanding how to generate these graphs using MatLAB. I've never taken a class using MatLAB and just don't understand what some of the websites are telling me to do generate this code. Can someone please explain to me how to plug this into Matlab to generate a plot. If I could see your code that would be great because the explanations on the MatLAB and Mathmatica websites are obviously for people who have used these programs before. Please do not post instructions from sites if possible. If you can post the actual code, that will better help me understand and also help me when I have to plug in other Fourier Series in the near future.
f(x) = 1, -2 < x < 0
0, 0 < x < 2
the Fourier Series I came up with was
f(x) =
I understand how to do the math and got the answer, I just really need help plugging this into MatLab. Thanks.
Explanation / Answer
sry the above function is =1 for even values of n and a bit complicated otherwise is wrong.cal seperately and then plot...
