The tradition of the French government playing a central role in the language and culture of its people dates back to the establishment of the French Academy which to this day is responsible for the regulation of French grammar and spelling. Keeping in mind the responsibilities of the French Academy, do you believe that an American government agency or sponsored organization here in the United States should play such a role in language and cultural production? About the french academy-
The french academy had it origin in an informal literary group deriving from the salons that were held at the hotel rambouillet during the late 1620 and early 1630. the french academy is the pre eminant french council for the matters pertaining to the french language. it ws established and managed by the governement authorities and the members and thus the government have the central role to persist the tradition and culture along with the language for the french people. they have a huge contribution in the development of the academy and also made the tradtion for this.the french culture can be seen today also and hence have the regulations of the french grammer and spelling.
Advatages of establishment of American academy-
=>This will play a major role in the combining of the traditions not only with the people of the united states of america but also have the influence of the people of the another nations. as the world is very big and have many great things to learn and understand. this american academy will make a close relations with the other nationn in terms of the literature and language and make a formations of brotherhood and share of the tradition and culture with the other nations.
Disasvantages-
=> The main disadvantage of this is that people may not understand the importance of the language and the tradition of the other nation. they will try to pollute the culture as they feel that it is not important to learn the traditions and the culture of the other nation. the main fact is that they don;t have inerest to know about the other nations culture. so it might be some where inappropriate and thus make a violence in this.
