1) Though this topic has been a long term debate, but it is hypothesized that there could be a another period of glaciation in the next two million years, and the main reason would be the soaring level of atmospheric carbon dioxide driven by humans. Sources influence the glacial cycle including the solar amount reaching the earth surface. Although the carbon dioxide concentration remained the primary concern. The Carbon dioxide must have to fall at 240 ppm for the next glaciation period to take place, and they reached 395.09 ppm during January 2013.

So if the phenomenon would continue to be the same then it would not be the jaw dropping to estimate the next glaciation after 2 million.

2) The same can repeat for after 10 million year as it is evaluated that the glaciation take place after every 10 millions year as a cycle of glaciation. And the latest took place in the age of Pliestocene, so according to this, the cycle must repeat.
