Question
Hello i was wondering if you could settle something simplehere: Please see the following questions: While testing a section of code, calls to a subroutine, A,occurs as a HPP rate of calls per second. Independently oftime of calls, a call to A also involves a subroutine B (combinedwithin A) with probability 0.2 If = .01 find the probability that more than 10 callsto A occur in one minute interval. What i have is rate of arrival calls per hour for subroutine A= 0.1 * 60 = 6 The next bit is the probability that more than 10 calls to Aoccur in one minute interval? Is this either P( X > 10) = 1 - P( X <= 10) = 0.042621 or P(X < = 10) = 0.9574 This has me driven crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the random variable X HERE?? I ASSUME, X = Number of call arrivals in a minute, In that case It would be P ( X > 10) = 1 - P( XRelated Questions
