A patient is classifiesas having gestational diabetes if the glucose level is above 140 mgper deciliter one hour after a sugary drink is ingested. Sheila'smeasured glucose level one hour after ingesting the sugary drinkvaries according to the Normal distribution =125 mg/dl and=10 mg/dl.

The question is, If measurements are made instead instead on 3separate days and the mean result is compared with the criterion140 mg/dl, what is the probability that Sheila is diagnosed ashaving gestational diabetes?

I understand that the probability of having diabetes with onemeasurement is 6.68%, however I'm unsure how to calculate thisprobability when it's repeated for three separate days.

In the back of the book they say the probability is .0447. How didthey get this answer?
