I can't put the entire problem in the question because it is atake-home quiz. The problem involves finding A^k where A = PDP^-1 are allgiven. A has real entries, so the answer must have realanswers. My answer looks something like this (not the realco-efficients) so far: Can I do a scalar reduction at this point and justeliminate the i's so that the answer is I have checked EVERY other part of my complex arithmetic amillion times now and just don't see how else to end up with ananswer without i's.Explanation / Answer
