for #18 finally got a correct answer from one of you guys of how they got -3.69 as t value. my question is why doesnt it work on ti 84? i plug in n1=100, n2=150, x bar1= 35, x bar2=50, s1=900, and s2=1050. i also choose the less than function. i use the 2 sampttest on ti84? can i only get correct answer by using formula, or is there a way to do it on ti 84 that i havent figured out.

S1 = sqrt(900) = 30

S2 = sqrt(1050) = 32.40

This should solve the problem and you will get the same result from formula and Ti-84. Since the std deviations are almost same use pooled 2 sample ttest
