The formal definition of the p-value is "the probability of obtaining a test statistic at least as large as the one obtained, by random chance, assuming the null hypothesis is true." This is sometimes shortened to "the probability of getting results this extreme, assuming the null hypothesis is true". What are some of the ways in which you think any of the incorrect interpretations (a, b, or c) are different from or roughly the same as the correct one.
