(i) Clark County : CMR = 3434/ 451820 = 0.76%

(ii) Walla Walla County : CMR = 590/60650 = 0.97%

(iii) For Washington County : CMR = 54515/ 7061410 = 0.772%

so, Walla walla county has high mortality rate than other county and Washington state.

(i) Clark County : CMR(AD) = 215/ 451820 = 0.0476%

(ii) Walla Walla County : CMR(AD) = 54/60650 = 0.089%

so, Walla walla county has high mortality rate due to alzheimer than other county and Washington state. All counties and state has lower mortality rate in alzheimer disease then due to other reasons.

(ii) Walla Walla County : CMR(CLRD) = 19/60650 = 0.0313%

(iii) For Washington County : CMR(CLRD) = 3151/ 7061410 = 0.0446%

so, Walla walla county now has lowest mortality rate due to chronic respiratory disease than other county and the Washington state. All counties and state has lower mortality rate in respiratory disease then due to other reasons.

(5) As we dont know the pattern of the age group for both the counties, comparing crude mortality rate for both the counties are not a proper method. As more developed county has higher age group of people more. SO, an age adjusted mortality rate comparison is better.

(6) Proportionate mortality rate for diabetes

(i) Clark County : CMR = 124/3434 = 0.036

(ii) Walla Walla County : CMR = 31/590 = 0.0525

(iii) For Washington County : CMR = 1805/54515 = = 0.0331%

In walla walla county there are high rate of deaths due to Diabetes with respect to other county and the washington DC state.
