let amount of cashew mixed = x
(20*1.50) +(x*4.00)=(20+x)*2.00
=>30+ 4x =40 +2x
=>4x - 2x =40 -30
=>2x =10
=>x=5
the manager should mix 5 pounds of cashews with the peanuts
