Summ ary China met its 2020 carbon intensity targets which were set up in the Paris agreement in 2015. There are 195 countries which were under the agreement and various targets were set up to cut the amount of carbon di oxide produced by various countries.China has cut its intensity by 46% from 2005, and its commitment to the agreement and concerns regarding the climate can be seen by the results that they have achieved before time. PERSONAL INTEREST With evident climate changes all over the world, its quite natural that strong steps were needed to be taken in order to undo or manage the harm that have been done to the environment. PAris agreement was a straight step in the right direction as majority of problems would be sorted out, if we put a limit or cut down the carbon di oxide produce. So being a concerned citizen and environment lover, this agreement was very important for me and by seeing this kind of committment was very satisfying that surely steps were being taken to maintain the balance which have been lost in the environment.
