Precipitation has a direct relationship with the process of evaporation and cloud formation. This is more prominent in tropical region and temperature rainfall region or low latitude zone. As earth is divided into several alternate zone band of high and low pressure zone ( parallel to equator) thus heated up and moist air get intervened by alternate cold front. Thus it get precipitation before it directly reach to the high latitude regions. Therefore this zone gets leass precipitation.
