1. When there is difference in between two highs and low tides it is known as the mixed semi diurnal tide. As we can see in the graph that there is difference between two high tides so it is a mixed semi diurnal tide.

2. The mixed tide forms when either the position of moon is north or south of the equator, the area experiences two high tide and low tide of different heights in 24 hour cycle. The difference is maximum when the position of moon is at the tropic of cancer and minimum when it is nearly above the equator.
