skin is the largest organ of the human body.it consists of two layers Epidermis (layer which we seen as skin )and Dermis(second layer ) and beneath the dermis is hypodermis.Epidermis is made up of dead cells and it acts as a protective layer for the other layers.Epidermis also contain sensitive cells called Touch receptors.Dermis contain hair follicle, sweat gland, sebaceous gland and blood vessels.The lower layer is the subcutaneous tissue composed of fat and connective tissue. it acts an insulator to regulate body temperature.
