mechanism of food vacuole formation:

A food-vacuole is a membrane enclosed cell's vacuole with digestive function. Amoeba is a unicellular organism, which doesn't has mouth for ingestion of the food. It ingests the food by encircling the food by forming pseudopodia.

The food vacuoles are formed when the food is pushed towards the cell where the membrane bends inward. As the food pushes against the membrane, the membrane stretches inward until the food particle is completely inside the cell. Then the membrane is completely pinches off into the cell and forms the food vacuole.

This type of formation of food vacuole by the formation of pseudopodia is called phagocytosis.

relationship of lysosomes with food vacuoles:

Lysosomes contain acid and other enzyme to breakdown various nutrients into their usable forms. when food vacuole is formed in a unicellular organism like amoeba, the membrane of the food vacuole gets merged with the membrane of the lysosome and the contents of the lysosomes are released into the food vacuole. Thus the food in the food vacuole gets digested.

The process of making the digested food products be available to the cell:

The food vacuole will move inside the cell due to cytoplasmic streaming. The digested food products are made available to the entire cytoplasm during this movement by diffusion process.
