You have a job at a company and are good friends with a married couple that works with you. After work one night, you go to a bar and are surprised to see your male friend there with the secretary from the office. (His wife is not there). It is obvious that there is a romantic relationship between the boss and the secretary as they are drinking and hugging and kissing. What do you do in this situation? Do you pretend that you do not see them? Do you confront your friend the next day at work and ask him what is going on? Do you tell his wife that her husband is disloyal? Or do you confront both your friend and the secretary at the bar? Tell me what would you do in a situation like this?

What do you do in this situation? Do you pretend that you do not see them?

Answer: I would just let them be at ease and neglect their presence unless they would feel comfortable to approach me and greet me. This is the best thing that can be done to them as after the job personal life and privacy basically matters the most.

Do you confront your friend the next day at work and ask him what is going on? Do you tell his wife that her husband is disloyal? Or do you confront both your friend and the secretary at the bar? Tell me what would you do in a situation like this?

Answe: Next day I would be normal and wont confront them with any questions. Afterall its their private affair and I have nothing to get in between their privacy. Professional and personal life are two different spheres of life and one should undersatnd there is a thin line that separates the two and that line should not be crossed to maintain the dinity of the work and persoanl relationship.
