From a business standpoint let's say for example that Tesla is making an economical van that will increase their revenue in the marketplace. Explain what the internal perspective is such as:

Innovation process - operating capabilites and new product operations

operations process - defect rates, yield

post-sales services process - time taken to replace or repair defective products, hours of customer training for using the product

I just need to know how each of these processes are beneficial to creating an economical van. What makes Tesla a better automotive company then other companies such as GM, Nissan, Toyota, etc.

If we take any successful business organization, the main reason for its success is definitely is its innovation process which leads to huge revenue generation. Customers, generally go for a different things which give them economical value along with high performance.

Tesla is one among the top 10 Automotive companies listed a top of FORBES 2015. Tesla updates design continuously borrowing ideas continuously from its sibling Space X, including its extensive use of aluminium in boththe body and the chasis of teh Model X as well as drawing and casting techniwques used to produce the aluminium bodies and Space X''s Falcon rocket and dragon capsules. It is very helpful to cross fertilize ideas from different industries.

Tesla recruit people based on ability of solving complex problems, but not based on experience, Innovations is a continuous process whcih makes operational efficiency and helpful in bringing new products with new features, that comes only through hardwork. Finally, innovations only will bring greater revenues.

In operational process, there may be defects due to faulty design of the product or defective technology or due to human fault, because of these defectives, the final yield may be effected. suppose a product process takes 10 steps. In the first step the yield is only 90% and 90 goes to second process there again yiled is only 90%, so the real yield is 81, but the average yield is 90%. This final yield, some times called the rolled throught yield (RTY) is thh proportion of defect free units out of the final process setup relative to what we started with at the fist process step. Every company want to increse its yield by reducing the defects by using perfect technology,proper design and by using expert manpower. Recently,we witnessed some companies withdraw their products due to defective planning

Post sale service: This is another important aspect that every corporate should note of it. Corporates duty not ended just after making sale. Problems arise after sale should be rectified and smooth functioning of the product should be ensured by the company. Company should responsible for all operting defectives. Timely and quick attending the problems after sale would give better reputation to the company. Customers see this feature of 'after sale service' as one of the indicator to prefer a particular product.

Tesla definitely a better automative comapany than other companies such as GM, Nissan, Toyota etc. in one aspect i.e its thrust for continuous updation of their motor version.For this one example, we can quote: "when the Model X was introduced in June 2012, it came with smart air suspension system that automatically lowered the car at highway speed for better aerodynamics and range. One day a Model S owner was zooming down the highway and ran over a three ball trailler hitch. It punctured teh underbody's ballistics - grade armor adn the battery pack above it with incredibel force. No one was hurt, teh car's warning system told the passengers to exit the vehicle before a fire started in the front compartment. Tesla quickly added a titanium unerbody shield to the existing armor on all new cars and made it a free upgrade on existing ones, and it updated the software, so the car does not automatically lower it highway speed' .

Hence, Tesla is better for its technology, high quality product, better design, updated software installation, after sale service and all the more its innovativeness.
