Explanation / Answer

Part one

One of the benefits of measuring individuals aged 15 to 64 is that it provides information about their health status and help in determining the risk factors that can affect the population health in future. Another benefit of measuring the health status is that it helps the individuals to be aware of their health and live positively

The benefit that come with measuring individual health status have positive effect on the entire population health status, in that through measuring the individuals health status the entire population becomes aware of the risk factors in their health and they are able to take preventive measures and ensure they lead a more healthy life, (Streiner, Norman & Cairney,2014). Death and birth statistics has been   the most significant in my community and has helped in measuring the community health indicators.

The local leaders are addressing the issue of infectious diseases in the communities to ensure that people live without fear. Addressing the social issue will help the local populations lead a quality life. The issue has a legal impact on the local population because everyone is required to maintain good health standards to prevent the spread of the diseases.

Part two

To help develop a health policy in an elementary school the main stakeholders would be the tutrs and the parents. To develop a program funds and enough staff would be required to ensure that the program is effective. The program will provide students with knowledge and skills required to make good health decisions as well as offer support to assist them maintain good healthy behaviors, (Riekert, Ockene, & Pbert, 2013). When developing the health program social environment should be considered to ensure that the students remain motivated to maintain healthy behaviors.

A program that is meant for an elementary school should consider providing training to the students; and offer support to help them maintain healthy behaviors. On the other hand, a program that is meant for adults needs to give out the guidelines to help the adults understand how they are supposed to maintain healthy behaviors. Students may object to the nutrition diet and opt to eat junk food. In the 21stcentury people are realizing the importance of a proper nutrition diet and are ensuring that their children are given a proper diet in school.
